Downsizing, packing, moving, OH MY!

Winter 2013/14

"Busy Busy Busy" as Kurt Vonnegut says.  Luckily, things couldn't be falling into place better.  Properties have sold or rented in a most convenient and timely way.  Yes, we're crazy busy, getting our "stuff" organized, but we're soooo close to our dream.  We could not see a lick of ice on the bay today.  Nothing but blue sky reflecting off blue water.  We buzzed around the house, packing this, finishing that, final touches on renos.  Life is indeed good.  So, so good.  Gran vida.

We climbed over the snow and onto the boat the other day for the first time this season.  Everything is in place, exactly as we left it.  My gut bubbled up in excitement.

We are too busy to post much lately but in a nutshell:  we're crazy busy, over the moon excited, running in fifty different directions at the same time and sometimes worry that someone is going to pinch us and we'll wake up and realize this is all a dream.  We're so blessed.  (Of course, ask me in six month from now when I haven't had a bath for awhile, missing my grandbabies, seasick and fighting waves...  could be singing a different tune!)

Keep posted for boat updates.  Jeff's working hard on installing the docks at the marina and around town, then comes the big launch.  I'm working hard closing out my teaching career, which is a little bitter sweet.  It's been good to me.
