Of No Fixed Address

We did it!!  With a gargantuan effort, the contents of one and a half large homes have been sorted and stored, sold, bartered, given away, thrown out, pawned off, burned or otherwise whittled down to the size of a storage room.  The house is empty, spit-shined and ready for the tenants to move in tomorrow. This means we're officially "BOAT PEOPLE".  We now live on our boat.  Presently, we're splayed out on the couch, exhausted, with our feet up on boxes of stuff that we need to find stowage for.

And how does it feel?  AMAZING.  The sun is beaming in, the boat is rocking gently, radio music is wafting in from the distance, a gentle breeze kisses my cheek.  We're HOME!!

We still have work to do to get the boat ready for our departure in mid-august and I have another month of teaching ahead of me before I retire but having the boat in the water and the house all sorted out is a HUGE step in the right direction.  Here's a few pics of the launch:
