Clarksville, day two

October 11, 2014

Stats:
Zero.  Dock day.

Rest day!  We spent the day tied up to a courtesy dock in Clarksville TN.  Jeff did a bunch of boat maintenance, I cycled down to the laundromat.  Then we spent a drizzly afternoon  reading and/or watching movies, topped off with a spaghetti dinner.  Nice quiet day.  Tomorrow we'll mosey on down the river headed back to Barkley Lake.

They call the land between Barkley Lake (which is the Cumberland River damed up) and the Kentucky Lake (which is the Tennessee River damed up) the "land between the lakes".  Which is, well, very aptly named!  From what we can tell it is mostly a state park and it looks like there are lots of very nice anchorages there.  We're on our way to find out!

We'll also spend a day or two at a marina.  As much as we prefer to anchor out or stay on a free dock or wall, we do need to fill/empty our tanks once in awhile and we hope to get some routine maintenance and re-provisioning accomplished.
