The day was spent hanging around the dock or snorkling or walking the beach. We were docked right by the concession stand and we had people walking up and down in front of the boat all day, checking it out, curious, dreaming. Often, without seeing us onboard, people would stop to take a picture in front of the boat. I remember doing that so many times before I was a boat owner . Jeff or I would come out and chat them up to answer questions. We had several people delighted to be invited onboard for a picture on the bow or sitting in the captains seat and we had a lot of fun doing it.
An account of our progress as we prepare for, proceed, and then get distracted from our Great Loop Adventure... traveling the Great Lakes, rivers, canals and coastal areas of Eastern Canada, the States and the Bahamas. Blast off Summer 2014!!! Maybe someday we'll finish our loop, but in the meantime Southern winters sure are sweet....

Hi Sue & Jeff,
My 3 yr. old grandson, Simon, & I met you in Bahia Honda St. Park Marina last month while we were vacationing there. You gave us a very nice tour of your boat & Jeff took pictures of Simon at the helm. We really appreciated the tour. Simon still talks about it. I was wondering if you could forward the pics of Simon at the wheel when you get a chance. Thank you again & safe boating all the way back home. Regards, Paul Gagne gagnevt@comcast.net

Hi Paul. I'm glad you resent your email address. Jeff will send the photo asap. All the best to you and young Captain Simon! He's a cutie! S&J
