Miami - St Patty's Day

Despite my Irish heritage we put in a good travel day today and stayed away from the green beer (although Jeff decided that a little Irish jig on the flybridge would be a good idea.  It really wasn't.).

We left Key Largo around noon and had an easy cruising day to Miami.  One wouldn't think of Miami as a great place to find a quiet anchorage but here we are.  It's lovely!

We are anchored in a place called Stadium Marina.  It's apparently a place where young rowing teams come to practice because we've been watching them since we arrived.  There are a bunch of boats anchored here and the teams row around the periphery.  We sat on the flybridge and cheered them on over drinks and steaks on the Q.

We have s spectacular view of the Miami skyline tonight. To think that I was dreading Miami, sure that it would be busy and hard to navigate.  So far, we've gotta say, it's been easy-breezy (20 Knots or so) and very pleasurable.  No problem.
